Expected results of the project

The project will significantly contribute to the successful deployment of existing reservoir of scientific and practical knowledge and stimulate its exchange between the regions and countries

Farms
  • Extensive network of Partner Farms at European level to tap agroecology innovation from grassroots in the field of grazing (starting with 15 grazing farmers in each project MS, 120 farms in total)
  • Inventory of innovation: 120 practice abstracts & 120 short practice videos about the innovative practice; 72 farm walks for peer-to-peer knowledge sharing; videos & training for farmers and advisors about how to use digital tools
  • A farmer friendly self-assessment tool to estimate integrated farm performance based on agroecology supported by 120 self-assessment reports including farm profiles
  • Instalment and empowerment of grazing Facilitator Agents (FAs), and advisory services
  • A strong dedicated grazing AKIS in 8 EU Member State interconnected through cross-border linkages into an wide European Grazing AKIS
  • A Knowledge & Information Management System (KIMS) to transform local innovative practices into broadly-disseminated entries, practice abstracts in EIP-Agri format including context profiles, videos and farm profiles, self-assessment tools and training material that will support the will to change in other regions and countries and the sharing of innovative practices to improve grazing farms performance
  • One-stop shop for grazing newsletters promoting grazing innovations; A dialogue platform between EU grazing publishers
  • A collaboration platform between EU grazing labels promoters. Improved linkages between grazing labels promoters and the practice-science communities
