DEMONSTREAZĂ CĂ EȘTI CEL MAI BUN FERMIER!
PARTICIPĂ LA CONCURSUL “CEL MAI PRICEPUT FERMIER ÎN DOMENIUL PĂȘUNATULUI!”
Competiția se adresează fermierilor care integrează pășunatul în cadrul creșterii animalelor (vaci, oi, capre, cai etc). Mai precis ne adresăm fermierilor care prin propria activitate demonstrează una sau mai multe realizări în:
-
- 1. Adoptarea practicilor de management care au ca scop îmbunătățirea sănătății animalelor;
- 2. Reducerea inputurilor necesare furajării animalelor pe baza pășunatului;
- 3. Reducerea poluării;
- 4 .Creșterea diversității în cadrul sistemelor de producție animală pentru a le consolida rezistența;
- 5. Conservarea biodiversităţii prin utilizarea pășunatului.
Competiția este organizată în parteneriat de USAMV Cluj Napoca și UBM Feed Romania (https://ubmfeed.ro/)
DESCRIEREA COMPETIȚIEI:
– Competiția se adresează fermierilor care utilizează în proporție cât mai ridicată în furajarea animalelor iarba pentru pășunat;
– Fermierii sunt rugați să trimită un scurt videoclip filmat cu propriul telefon (max. 5 min.) în care să descrie principalele avantaje dobândite în urma folosirii ierbii – reducerea costurilor; reducerea poluării; îmbunătățirea bunăstării animalelor etc. Trimiterea informațiilor se va realiza pe baza următorului formular https://forms.gle/FuffazxnTDgb58ZZ6
– O scurtă descriere a fermei – localizare geografică; utilizarea terenului (pășune/arabil); tipul și numărul de animale;

Comparing with other EU Member States, Romania has around 22% of its territory covered with permanent agricultural grasslands. Only Ireland (52%) and the Netherlands (27%) have more territorial shares devoted to permanent grasslands in Europe.
Low intensive grazing practices used by generations in small-size family farms supported the development of rich biodiversity cultural landscapes. Grazing abandonment and intensification are nowadays important threats for such ecosystem services.

Grazing4AgroEcology – O rețea europeană pentru promovarea pășunatului și sprijinirea fermelor bazate pe pășunat în ceea ce privește performanțele lor economice și ecologice, precum și bunăstarea animalelor
Grazing4AgroEcology (G4AE) este un proiect finanțat de UE care urmărește restabilirea încrederii fermierilor și a industriei agricole în performanța producției și competitivitatea pășunatului prin promovarea inovațiilor agroecologice. G4AE sprijină în mod direct obiectivele Pactului Verde european: restaurarea biodiversității, reducerea pierderilor de nutrienți și reducerea emisiilor de gaze de efect de seră.
Sistemele de producție agricolă bazate pe pășunat au capacitatea de a produce alimente de înaltă calitate, de a fi benefice pentru competitivitatea fermierilor și bunăstarea animalelor, precum și pentru alte servicii ecosistemice care sunt larg apreciate de societatea noastră. Cu toate acestea, din multe motive, utilizarea pășunatului este în general în scădere în Europa, ceea ce reprezintă o amenințare pentru multe servicii ecosistemice.
Fermierul și comunitatea agricolă sunt în centrul unei rețele multi-actor care se adresează întregului Sistem de cunoștințe și inovare în agricultură (AKIS), inclusiv știință și practică, grupuri operaționale (OG), organizații neguvernamentale (ONG), consilieri, precum și consumatorii și cetățenii.
Rețeaua formată din 120 ferme partenere (15 per țară) va permite captarea și implementarea celor mai bune practici și inovații pentru promovarea pășunatului pentru agroecologie. G4AE va inova sectorul pășunatului prin consolidarea capacității fermierilor de a-și înțelege propria performanță pe baza unui instrument integrat de autoevaluare.
